Rinku Sinha Burma

Hi! I’m Rinku Sinha Burma.

I believe eating is a necessity but cooking is an art.

I am Rinku Sinha Burma Malhotra, an Indian by birth. Born and brought up in Siliguri (a very small city in Darjeeling district). I’m a Science graduate in Microbiology from Siliguri College.

I have always been a food passionate and I left my 10 years corporate career to explore more about food and cuisine across the globe. Food blogging, Recipe development, Food styling, Food plating came into existence after suggestions from my husband and friends who were inspired by my cooking talent.

I take pride in my multicultural nation, Indian cuisine comprises of a number of regional cuisines.  The diversity in soil type, climate, culture, ethnic group and occupations, these cuisines differ from each other mainly due to the use of locally available spices, herbs, vegetables, and fruits. Indian food is also influenced by religious and cultural choices and traditions.

I love to go for food tripping and get in touch with other foodies, cooks, chefs and exchange recipes, ideas and tips. In every few kilometre, I get to eat new dishes and then I give it a new taste with a twist or fusion and make something more innovative. I believe; it is also a great way of sharing delicious recipes with the world. I love to share wholesome and delicious recipes, perfect for home cooked family meals.
